Who would have thought that our original meeting from several years ago would lead to the wonderful conversations we have had of late. The loss of a child is the worst thing a mother can experience. His brother's and his Dad and I have all had moments that made us feel he was with us. His oldest brother was the most troubled about not saying goodbye.....and of all people, you brought the message that gave him calm and peace. He shared it with me one day after listening to me talk about my own feelings and experiences. All that aside, I knew I would speak to you again myself. When the phone rang at my son's house and you were on the other end of it and I was alone--you knew it. Your words brought tears as well as calm to me as I listened to you speak of my son. I thought I was 'open' to him. I needed to let him know that I knew he was there and you helped me with that. A couple weeks later, as I was driving, I had his face in my mind and heard his words. I hadn't listened to music in quite a while and have been again since that day. I let him know that I knew he was with me and was more open to telling him just that. I thank you for all your thoughts and how you express yourself to me about my son. Your insight into his habits, appearance and mannerisms is amazing. Dear Lauren,

I wanted to let you know how your Reiki sessions have continued to help me through my divorce process. Within minutes of seeing you for the first time and without me saying a word, I was astounded how you picked up my emotional situation and how my heart was breaking. You immediately realized I was there because I needed some emotional help as well as to alleviate neck and back pain associated with stress and having difficulty sleeping at night. As always your Reiki sessions change to my situation whether it's emotional or physical using different techniques whether stones, spiritual healing, etc.. I have now gone to three sessions and every time I see you the Reiki has helped me more. Not only the Reiki itself but how you always want to listen and offer guidance whether it is calming words or recommending products to help me cope and to regain strength within myself. When I leave my pain is gone, I sleep better and I am emotionally strong again.

I have also asked you to provide spiritual healing for this difficult time in my life. You and I are both Catholics but you clearly have a gift from god to help and heal others. I have asked you for help and confirmation because I and my mother had sensed my father long before I even had a session with you. If people want to say that this is a bad thing, they are wrong because too many people in this world have the same experiences after they lose someone they love. Lauren, you were able to provide very specific things about what I already knew (and you did not) that only he, I and, and my family would know. You do this in a very calming way and it has helped me tremendously in knowing my father is by my side still.

Your skills, wisdom, compassion, and the time you take to make sure I am alright before I leave your office is very uncommon these days with practices such as yours. And the effects of your sessions last for weeks. Lauren, you certainly have a wonderful gift as a Reiki Practioner and Master and working with people in a spiritual way.
