Welcome to The Reiki Shoppe site. The Reiki Shoppe is owned and operated by Lauren D. Bortolami, a native of Bridgewater, MA. Lauren is a Reiki Master/Teacher, Angel and Spirit Intuitive, Energy Healer, Empath, Herbalist, and a Catholic. Lauren began to develop her skills early on with energy work as a child and later took training to help her to understand how to use her skills to personally heal from health issues, the sudden loss of her father, impeding divorce, as well as help others in similar situations. Lauren has been using Reiki since 1996 when she took her first level of training in Reiki I and furthered her studies until she became a teacher in 2006. In 2006, She Heals It's Doors were opened in downtown Bridgewater at the Rotary, which was later renamed The Reiki Shoppe in 2007. Lauren is a sought out teacher for Reiki, because she is so compassionate about her work, volunteers for those she feels needs help (see more below), and wants people to understand the benefits of using Reiki for themselves, who are caretakers for the termininally ill, or who want to become Practitioners to share Reiki with others. Lauren specializes in teaching personalized one-to-one classes and also offers groups of up to 8+ people as requested. Lauren has endured many health issues as child as well as sadnesses and hardships in her life and brings forth her own experiences as well as healing stories to help others during their times of bereavement, divorce, illness, and trauma. She believes she was given these life experiences in order to teacher others and help people to overcome hardships in their lives. Lauren uses her intuition as well as prayer for each person she works with, often getting to the root of the problem for each client so they can let go and heal. Lauren offers volunteer work and discounted rates to those who serve and protect the community and our country such as Firefighters, EMS, Police, the US Armed Forces (and their immediate family members), after a firefighter was injured in the line of duty saving her family home in 2001. Lauren will provide volunteer work, especially in a line of duty injury or tragedy. Laurens helps a variety of fire departments volunteering her time for staff who need help with stress and trauma, as well raising money for needy families and more. She plans to become an EMT, Crisis Counselor, and work for the Red Cross, alongside her boyfriend who is in the fire service and has inspired her to continue her path in helping others. Lauren feels there is much more healing work that needs to be done. Lauren currently works with doctors, psychologists, lawyers, public safety officials, nurses, contractors, and others who seem to find her when they, their clients, or staff needs healing work. You will rarely see paid advertising from The Reiki Shoppe or from Lauren Bortolami, as her reputation and her work speaks for itself, and she is known for her name in the area for teaching Reiki. Some of her clients come from New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Lauren is available by appointment only, mostly on week nights, Wednesday days, and occassional Saturdays. Appointments should be booked at least 48 hours in advance, however, Lauren will often fulfill last minute requests if needed around her busy schedule.
